I'M DANA M. BELL.

MA., LPC.

I live in Michigan and work as a professional counselor.  I specialize in working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, negative self-image, and domestic violence.

I hold on to hope and faith firmly and encourage everyone around me to find the courage to make small changes in their lives in order to become the best version of themselves and to find purpose to lead a joyful life. 

 

MY STORY

I earned a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from Sienna Heights University and a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University.  As a parole agent, my decades-long experience and training within the criminal justice system has given me a nuanced understanding of the human psyche and a distinctive perspective on issues like trauma, domestic violence, and citizen re-entry.

I strongly advocate self-care, self-love, self-confidence building, and therapy.  I love interacting with people who want to change their lives and outlook and are keen on working towards it.  I embrace the fact that while situations or circumstances may be tough, they are really temporary, and help is just one step away. 

I believe in the magic of hope and wish to deliver it to as many people as possible!
